A large fire broke out in an agricultural shed at a farm on the Drumsurn Road at approximately 2150hrs on 30th November 2016. Fire appliances from Limavady were in attendance at the fire and also called on the resources of a water tanker for extra water due to the remoteness of the farm.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage however it is believed substantial damage was caused to the shed that was on fire and surrounding areas.
